1、Summarize
Tri-cone Rock Bit has a widest variety of uses. Cutting teeth cut the bottom alternately. The rock breaking torsion and the contact area between teeth and bottom are small, while the specific pressure is high. This makes the bit easier to enter the stratum. The total working blade is long, which can reduce formation abrasion. Tri-cone Rock Bit is suitable for various formations from soft to hard.
2、Structural features
Insert bit is a tri-cone rock bit with sleeve or rolling bearing and jet design. It has the merit of optimized teeth placement, different teeth shape and height for different formations, well gauge protection, anti-attrition alloy on bearing system, silver plating, elaborate processing, anti-seizure, high strength and long working life. It is widely used in oil and gas exploitation and geological prospecting with a high drilling efficiency.
High strength and high tenacity carbide inserts are applied on the bit. The optimized teeth placement, height and shapes provide a well performance of high abrasion resistance and cutting capacity.
